Salary range: £38,040 - £40,887 p.a. inc.

Contract: Permanent

Hours of work: 36 hours per week

Location: Civic Centre and other locations from time to time

The Post


To deliver the council's approach to community engagement, working actively alongside members, residents, internal and external stakeholders including key community groups, voluntary sector organisations and partners across the borough to help facilitate co-production of solutions that address local issues.


This role will also specifically support the development and delivery of Brent's community engagement review, Brent Connects, the Voluntary Sector Liaison Forum, Love Where You Live grant programme and the voluntary and community sector strategy.


The Person


We are looking for a highly motivated, organised, flexible, knowledgeable and confidant individual who can interact and engage with a range of internal and external stakeholders.


You will have demonstrable knowledge and experience of providing a range of consultation and engagement advice including designing creative and innovative delivery options.


You will also have experience of working with the voluntary and community sector and be passionate about enabling and enhancing the sector.

Some evening and weekend working required.
