The Post   

 

Brent Start is excited to recruit Senior Programme Leader who will lead on Curriculum focusing on ESOL, English, Maths, Digital Skills and ALD and managing the development of these important curriculum areas. The role is one of two Senior Programme Leaders for Curriculum Management, who will focus on the quality of teaching and learning, safeguarding, innovation and improvement of the curriculum, ensuring the financial viability of courses.

A good understanding of the new Education Inspection Framework would be an advantage as well as understanding what is required to move from Good to being an Outstanding adult learning provider.

Provision is delivered primarily in Brent Start’s key sites in Stonebridge, Harlesden Library, and Willesden Green Library, with key emphasis on developing and growing provision in all settings.

The Person

 

We are seeking a highly effective manager and leader of adult education courses with understanding and demonstrable experience of developing and delivering complex curriculum with excellent outcomes for learners.
 
This includes developing and improving the curriculum offer for ESOL, English, Maths, Digital Skills and ALD, responding to learner and employer needs, whilst ensuring the highest standards of quality assurance and safeguarding.

The role requires an adult teaching/training qualification at level 5 e.g. DTTLS or equivalent.
